ITINERARY

DAY 1

AMALFI COAST

Arrive in Rome and transfer by private car with personal driver from Fiumicino Airport to the QC Terme Roma Spa Hotel.

 

Evening

 

Arrive, settle in, and relax at your five-star hotel. Have dinner and enjoy the Wellness Center (open until midnight).

DAY 2

AMALFI COAST – RAVELLO

Morning

 

Transfer to Ravello: the incredible “terrace” over the Amalfi Coast.

Enjoy the sensational views over the sea from the garden of Villa Cimbrone in Ravello. Villa Cimbrone is a historical building built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Amalfi Coast, surrounded by six hectares of a park filled with statues, fountains and various antiques.

Afternoon

Villa Cimbrone Garden tour.

Moving past Poggio di Mercurio, go down the stairs and walk along the path to reach the Temple of Bacchus, clearly inspired by classical architecture and supported by eight Doric ribbed columns.

Next, find Eve’s Grotto and the bronze statue of David, located up a steep staircase in the middle of the woods, surrounded by rare wild orchids. Further ahead is the Rose Terrace, in the middle of which stands a light stone meridian; on the outer edges, there are four ornamental statues: Flora, goddess of flowers and spring, Leonardo’s Leda with Swan, and two wrestlers, Damosseno and Greucante.

End the visit at the Tea Room, preceded by a splendid Italian garden with rich flowerbeds of ancient roses, and the Hortensia Avenue, surrounded by magnolia stellata trees, ginko biloba, espaliers of giant dahlias, spirea and beds of colored peonies. (The visit lasts a total of 2 hours.)

Evening

 

Have a special private guided tour in the colorful, blooming garden of Villa Rufolo, known as the Soul Garden.

 

Return to the hotel.

DAY 3

AMALFI COAST – CAPRI

Morning

Tour of the Amalfi Coast: travel back in time, driving a roaring, vintage Alfa Romeo Spider by the sea and under the blue sky of the Costiera Amalfitana. The panoramic view you will get of the rocky mountains, hanging over the beautiful sea, are unforgettable.

Enjoy an informal lunch with street food in Positano.

Afternoon

Transfer from Positano to Sorrento. Take a private boat from Sorrento to Capri (45 minutes).

Arrive at Hotel Punta Tragara, a gem poised on a hill overlooking Capri’s enchanting sea (15-minute walk from the center of Capri to the hoter).

Evening

 

Have a special dinner at Monzù, one the best restaurants on the island.

 

Return to the hotel.

DAY 4

CAPRI – ROME

Morning

 

Leave Capri and travel to Rome.

 

Lunch in Rome, at the Roof Garden restaurant of the Hotel Forum Roma, with a unique view of historical sites.

Afternoon

 

Settle in the Rome Cavalieri, a Waldorf Astoria hotel and resort in Rome.

Relax at the Hilton’s spa for the afternoon, enjoying the Jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace.

Evening

 

Exclusive private dinner at award-winning chef Heinz Beck’s Pergola – the only restaurant in Rome to have been granted three Michelin Stars.

 

Return to the hotel.

DAY 5

ROME

Morning

 

An exclusive, 2-hour-long visit takes you “behind the scenes” to find out more about the Vatican few tourists know about. Your accredited tour guide will show you one of the most spectacular private gardens here, closed to the general public.

Evening

 

Concert held at the private residence of Sandro De Palma, an international music master and piano player. Enjoy a unique view of the Colosseum and the Eternal City from the windows of his beautiful home.

 

Dinner in Mr De Palma’s residence.

 

Return to the hotel by car.

DAY 6

SIENA

Morning

 

Leave Rome and travel to Siena (2 hour, 40 minutes’ trip).

 

Settle in at the Grand Hotel Continental, and take a tour of Siena to see the Torre del Mangia and Duomo.

 

Lunch at the Grand Hotel Continental.

Afternoon

 

Walk and go shopping around Piazza del Campo with a personal shopper. (1 hour 30 minutes).

 

After admiring the so-called Facciatone – the façade of Duomo – enjoy the new itinerary to the dome’s rooftop, known as “Porta del Cielo” (Door to the Sky), and take in a beautiful view of the city.
Visit the Opera del Duomo Museum, the Cathedral of Saint Mary and the Piccolomini Library (3-hour visit).

Evening

 

Dinner at Ristorante San Domenico: your table on the top terrace with grant you a special view over the medieval city of Siena. Taste amazing dishes in a historical Renaissance house dated 1400 AD.

 

Return to the hotel.

DAY 7

SIENA

Morning

 

Private hot air balloon ride with photo shooting experience over the Tuscan countryside, exploring the Chianti vineyards – one of the most renowned Italian wine areas – from a unique point of view (the balloon ride is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes).

 

Transfer to Geggiano and have lunch in Villa Geggiano, a Medieval aristocratic estate dating back to 1300, immersed in Siena’s countryside.

Afternoon

 

Visit the winery inside Villa Geggiano and enjoy a private wine tasting, sampling one of 40,000 bottles of wine produced here each year.

 

Evening

 

One of the original, charming and elegant garden pavilions in Villa di Geggiano’s estate has recently been renovated, turning into two luxury suites.

 

Spend the night in Villa Geggiano.

DAY 8

SAN CASCIANO DEI BAGNI

Morning

 

Travel from Villa Geggiano to the Fonteverde Terme Hotel (less than 2 hours by car).

Afternoon

 

Have a fantastic spa day at Fonteverde Terme, relaxing in the outstanding setting of the Terre di Siena.

DAY 9

SAN CASCIANO DEI BAGNI – ROME

Morning

 

Spend the morning at the spa in Fonteverde Terme, complete with a detoxifying lunch.

Afternoon

 

Leave Fonteverde Terme and travel to Rome’s Fiumicino Airport (2 hours and 15 minutes by car).
